Reframe what problem a tool solves so adoption follows. Analytics Center pivot moved the platform from access-control compliance to definitional-accuracy AI partner.

Positioning & value props.

Authored the use-case and value-proposition frameworks TikTok sales teams use with advertisers; same craft applied to internal-tool positioning.

Commercial deal policy.

Wrote TikTok's NA commercial deal policy as the first strategy hire on the NA monetization team — sales used it directly.

Sales-forecasting methodology.

Designed the pipeline-driven sales forecasting methodology from scratch during the NA ad-revenue expansion window.

Cross-org alignment.

Strategic liaison between TikTok U.S. GM and HQ in Beijing during the highest-stakes period of TikTok's U.S. growth.

Evidence

Analytics Center pivot.

Authored AC's product strategy — pivoted positioning from compliance-focused data-access tool to AI-powered analytics partner, and reframed the governance model from access control (who can see what) to definitional accuracy (everyone sees the same metrics). The pivot is what unlocked majority adoption.

TikTok NA monetization launch.

First strategy hire for the NA monetization team. Stood up data infrastructure, product analysis, analytics capability, and market intelligence from zero. Authored commercial deal policy and use-case frameworks used by sales teams selling into advertisers.

Pricing & incentive policy (Uber Eats).

Owned pricing and incentive strategy across 250+ US/CAN markets on a multi-billion-dollar budget. Strategy didn't sit in a deck — it set the policy variables that ran the marketplace.

External-access strategy (AC).

Shipped Analytics Center's external-user access feature, moving ~1,000 TikTok partners, vendors, and agencies off sales-rep-mediated Excel exports onto self-serve dashboards with governance built in.
